This is the 6th time I’ve posted this pic in 2 weeks. But I have a new theory!</p> <p>I am still secretly hoping that he gets the costume change because he becomes Court Sorcerer. Extremely unlikely, but I still am holding on to that thread of hope!</p> <p>My second theory was that it was Arthur and Gwen’s wedding. But after reading over the spoilers for 4x13, I think that that would be unlikely as well. Also, in Morgana’s dream of their wedding, Merlin was still wearing his normal clothes.</p> <p>My new theory? Arthur promotes Merlin to his personal advisor, in the wake of Agravaine’s betrayal.
